Professor Sarah Robertson
Professor Sarah Robertson is Director of the Robinson Research Institute, University of Adelaide. Her research focus is the immune response to conception and pregnancy, and consequences for fetal development and offspring health. Developing interventions that target immune pathways to prevent pregnancy disorders including recurrent miscarriage, preeclampsia and preterm birth, is the goal of her work. She is funded by project grants from the NHMRC, the ARC, The Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Gates Foundation. She is a member of The NHMRC Academy, a Fellow of the Australian Academy for Health and Medical Sciences, and a Fellow of the Society for Reproductive Biology. She is secretary-general of the International Council for Reproductive Immunology and was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Reproductive Immunology (2008-2013).
